Find yourself some excellent quality loose tea leaves from your favorite teashop.
Not many people think about it but you need to make sure that your using high quality water for the finest cup of tea possible. Tap water is full of undesirable chemicals which not only affect the taste of your tea but are detrimental to your health.
If you can afford nothing more then at least get yourself a cheap carbon filter jug for a noticeable difference in your tea. For those of you with more money to spend it is really worth splashing out on a machine to produce reverse osmosis or water.
2. Put your kettle on to boil - Don't reuse water that has already been boiled which will have less oxygen in it meaning less flavor from your pot of tea. Rinse your Bodum teapot with boiling water to rinse and heat it. Pour in 1 teaspoon of loose tea leaves for each person into your glass teapot and pour in the required water. You may like to leave boiled water for a couple of minutes to cool slightly before adding it to the teapot for an improved taste
3. Be patient as the tea brews - Leave the tea to brew for as long as you personally prefer if you're not sure then 3-5 minutes is a good guideline. Experiment and you'll discover with practice how you like your tea brewed best. Push down the tea infuser plunger of your bodum teapot to stop the brewing process and pour your tea.
4. Find a comfortable chair, a book or some good company and enjoy the fine taste and aroma of your creation.
